To support our client project, we are looking for Coating inspector to join our ongoing project. You will work on construction site inspecting and testing coatings applied to surfaces to protect against corrosion, weathering, or other damage.
Duration: 18months
Start date: ASAP
Job description
The main responsibilities of the Coating Inspector include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure compliance with Inspect coatings applied to surfaces according to industry standards and client requirements
- Perform adhesion, thickness, and hardness tests on coatings
- Prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Ensure that coatings meet specifications and are applied correctly, identifying defects and recommending remedial actions
- Record and report inspection results, including documenting non-conformance and preparing reports for clients and project managers
- Conduct site inspections to assess coating conditions and recommend maintenance or repair work as needed
Profile required
- GW-15 and GW-30 module B
- 3-5 years experience in pipeline or EPC projects
- Very good computer and excel skills
- FROSIO /NACE Level II or III
