On behalf of one of our customers, an international company specializing in the design and manufacture of technological equipment for highly demanding sectors (nuclear, energy, aeronautics…), we are looking for a Welding Inspector with IWT (International Welding Technologist) or IWE (International Welding Engineer) certification.
Duration: 1 year
Start date: September 2025
Job description
The main responsibilities of the QC Welding Inspector include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and inspect welding, NDT activities
- Participate in specified test certification and/or QCP inspections
- Ensure and enforce compliance with HSE and welding standards and procedures.
- Liaise with operations center on engineering issues related to welding and associated tasks.
- Analyze the daily and weekly schedule of inspection/testing activities and organize to ensure that they run smoothly.
- Ensure that all welding documentation complies with project procedures and local regulations
- Take immediate action with the Company to resolve any welding defects found
- Prepare non-conformance reports (NCR) and ensure execution of required corrective actions
- Report to site management (Site Quality Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager) on the Company’s activities, any sticking points, problems, and status, as well as the data required for KPIs.
Profile required
- Technical training in the industrial or mechanical field
- Experience in quality inspection in a regulated industrial environment (nuclear, energy, oil & gas, etc.)
- Knowledge of related standards (ISO 3834, EN 1090, ASME, DNV, API etc.)
- Certification IWT or IWE
- Certification VT and PT level 2 will be a plus
- Rigorous mindset, analytical skills, autonomy, and good interpersonal skills
