QA/QC PIPING Site ELYgator

ELYgator is Air Liquide’s flagship renewable hydrogen project. It will be a large-scale next-generation renewable hydrogen production facility located in Maasvlakte, the Netherlands. A large-scale hydrogen electrolyzer, with a capacity 10x higher than existing electrolyzers. ELYgator will produce 23,000 tons of renewable and low-carbon hydrogen per year. ELYgator is unique because of its unprecedented scale – the electrolyser has a capacity of no less than 200 MW – and because the project cleverly combines two different electrolysis technologies (PEM and Alkaline)

Job description

The main responsibilities of the QAQC Piping Site includes, but are not limited to:

• Report to the E&C solution QA/QC manager on site
• Represents Global E&C Solutions towards the client, partners and sub-contractors in all QA/QC related issues
• Manages the QA/QC interfaces between disciplines at site as well as between partners and subcontractors
• Demonstrates beside relevant technical experience a strong management and leadership capability
• Participate to the technical audits of the contractors
• Perform the inspections on site related to SMP installation with the different site supervisors
• Preparation and follow the execution of Pressure testing (Hydro & Pneumo), in terms of quality and safety
• Coordination with site management, engineering, client and third-party inspectors
  

Profile required

• Proven experience in ASME B31.3 & B31.12
• Experience with ATEX certification
• IWT certify
• Certified MT/PT/VT
• Experience in large industrial EPC projects
• Must be able to Speak English. Dutch is a plus
