Based in Yvelines and Calvados, France. As part of a temporary project, the our client is seeking the following expertise at its production site in Ranville
The Package Manager is responsible for successfully executing a sub-element of a Project (“Package”) in accordance with the safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives set for the Project.
The “Package” is defined by the Project Manager during the start-up phase and may typically consist of managing one or more of the following sub-elements of the Project: Engineering
Qualification or Performance Test Campaigns
Engineering & Purchasing
Manufacturing or Pre-assembly Activities (in-house or subcontracted)
Preparation of Special Manufacturing Equipment (croaker, wrapper, etc.)
Operations at the Customer’s Site
Duration: 12 months
Start date: November 2025
Job description
The main responsibilities of the Package Manager includes, but are not limited to:
- Organizing the phasing and overall management of the execution of his/her package
- Managing the resources, schedule, and budget related to his/her package
- Liaising with the customer in the execution of his/her package
- Manage the subcontractors associated with their package
- Provide regular reports to the Project Manager
- Implementation of Hazid/Hazop processes when the Package includes on-site work
- Definition of internal and external resource requirements: sub-organization chart and schedule
- Budget and payment tracking (subcontractor invoices) related to their package
Profile required
- Engineering degree, specializing in thermal or mechanical engineering
- At least 10 years of experience, including several years in project management
- Knowledge of welding and metallurgy
- Good Knowledge of EPC Oil & Gas contracts
- Fluent English, and French
- Proactive, good interpersonal and negotiation skills
