Cargo Inspector (F/M)

For our upcoming project in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced cargo inspector to join our team to support our client.

Job description

The main responsibilities of the Cargo inspector include, but are not limited to:

• The cargo inspector oversees lashing, bracing, and stowage arrangements to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Checking for pre-existing damage, verifying cargo weight, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
• Confirming that shipments meet IMO CSS Code, CTU Code, and local port authority requirements
• The cargo inspector identifies potential hazards and implements corrective measures before they escalate
• Providing detailed photographic documentation and actionable insights to support claims, compliance, and quality assurance
  

Profile required

• Must be able to speak English. French will be a plus
• CTU  Code training, a must-have
• Minimum 3 years experience in cargo inspection
