Securing Loads

CTU Code training: Container Loading and Stuffing
Our training course complies with ship safety regulations required in the IMO directives, mandating that container cargo loading adheres to the IMO/ILO/UNECE Code of Good Practice (CTU Code).
The CTU code addresses essential aspects of cargo loading and transportation safety, including planning, rules for loading and securing both general and dangerous goods. It provides recommendations for handling, equipment checks before and after loading/unloading, and advice on protecting transported goods.

The regulations for load securing in road transport have significantly evolved, incorporating numerous updated standards, modifications to the standard contract (2017), and the introduction of a new directive.
